Late in 2015...
Mike, Jacob and Alex are 3 high performing entrepreneurs always on the look-out to take out productivity to the next level. One day we were sitting down discussing our respective businesses and realised something – while we were all successful in our respective fields - we still had room to grow in optimising our ability to get things done and on what mattered to us.
Mike with his second child on the way was in a position that most of his time was not being utilised to his full advantage and that with a debt of over $70,000.00, he needed to take what he knew, apply it and take it to the next level, to ensure he could pay back his debt and improve things in his life.
Between the three of us having backgrounds in program management, project management, digital marketing, eCommerce, education, business analytics, business administration, team leadership and entrepreneurship, we engineered and designed the planner along with the PDW planning system.
The focus of the planner was:
- We wanted to have a planner that cuts the clutter out and has a complete production focus.
- We wanted the planner to be easy to follow, light and extremely quick to use on a frequent basis. Let's face it, you will be joined to the hip with this every day!
- The planner was to have reviews that had valuable insights that could be acted upon for reflection, changes you need to make and for decisions to be made.
- The tracking of your purpose and all of your goals and projects in a simple and quick manner, that would only focus on production and success.
- We wanted the day-to-day activities in the planner to be quick and help you take action promptly, while focusing on what's important.
- The planner must have a way to celebrate achievements and be a keepsake.
- We wanted to expand on the PDW Planning System to help educate and take people to the next level.
After months of design and testing, we released multiple versions of the planner and planning system to a select group of highly productive, high achieving individuals, as well as individuals that needed structure, or wanted to improve their productivity to reach goals, projects and their ambitions.

Jacob Rothfield
Jacob started hist career as an engineer, with a passion for business analytics, entrepreneurship and investments. As a philosopher at heart, who didn’t understand people, teams, or businesses, he was fortunate enough to spend time working and living in countries all around the world, including China and India. Jacob spent his time abroad working for large multinationals – designing systems, training staff, and managing crisis teams. This gave Jacob a wealth of understanding and a background of connected-ness with colleagues, teams and the things that make a difference to large organisations.
Professionally, Jacob went into the world of IT project management, became certified in Prince2 and ITIL, and had to be very organised or projects would fall apart. He noticed what he did that worked smoothly, and what didn't in his work and personal life. Jacob then started making some small changes in his life from principals that he learned through his career, which made him work on things that mattered most to him. Once he made those changes in his life, he was no longer working on what was urgent, but what was important.
Since the development of the Plan Do Win Planner and the Plan Do Win System, Jacob has grown a thriving business, managed over 10 property development projects internationally, and built better relationships in his life...all in under 2.5 years!
He's learned from this that necessity is the mother of invention!

Alex Bell
Alex's career has primarily been in education with the goal to give people the power to overcome any barriers. Alex has always preferred to spend less time planning and more time doing. Throughout the design of the planner and planning system, Alex has been able to design the features to be able to be understood by anyone, but to also have the right questions that result with focus on productivity, and not wavering from this. Since testing began Alex doubled his income within 6 months, started a business and doubled its revenue every 6 months for the last 2.5 years, as well as becoming an authority in the education industry. He noticed after time using the planner and planning system that he had an incredible change in his production of what he was able to get done, allowing him to have more time and freedom to work on more projects and spends most of his time helping others.
